At Leakos the Cardinals won game 2, 11-2, eliminating the Tigers
Jon Ikert pitched a complete game to earn the win, striking out 7, and allowing only 2 runs. Ikert also led the team in hitting going 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBIs. The Cardinals now advance to the second round. [B]

At Dief, the Cannons came back from down 6 to beat the Expos 9-8
Josh Kerpan and Rich Pauls had home runs for the Cannons. Noah Perrin went deep for the Expos. Eric Menzies threw 5 and 1/3 innings in relief for the win. [B]
