At Stonebridge South, in a thrilling double extra-inning showdown Monday night, the Armadillos edged out the Brewers 9-8 in a true all-around team effort. Riley Hammermiester sparked the offense early with yet another triple, setting the tone for the night. Amy took the mound to start, pitching five strong innings with 7 strikeouts and only 2 earned runs. Soup followed in relief, dominating with 7 more Ks over four innings while surrendering just one hit and no earned runs. The game reached its climax in the bottom of the 9th when Dylan Ziegler, who went 3-for-4 on the night, delivered a clutch 2-RBI walk-off hit to seal the win. For his heroics, Ziegler was named the Supplement King Player of the Game.
